Evajoy Pool Repair Kit Installation Guide & Video
In coordination with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Evajoy is voluntarily recalling certain above ground pool models. The recall affects Evajoy Pools that are 48 inches or taller and have compression straps that surround the outside of the pool legs to maintain structural integrity. Affected products were sold from March 2023 through June 2024 at Amazon and include the following models: EJ-HF032, EJ-HF044 and EJ-HF045. This video explains how to use the complimentary repair kit for your above ground pool. This repair kit is designed to be easy to install and prevent children from getting a foothold on the product.

Recall Summary
Name of Product: Evajoy 48-inch and taller above-ground pools
Hazard: The compression strap that surrounds the outside of the pool legs may create a foothold, allowing a child access to the pool, posing a drowning risk.
Remedy: Repair
Consumers should contact Evajoy to request a free repair kit that removes the compression strap from the pool while maintaining the structural integrity of the pool. In the interim, consumers should ensure that children cannot access the pool unattended or, alternatively, drain the pool until the repair can be installed.

Units: About 4,000
Description: This recall involves all Evajoy above-ground pools 48 inches and taller. Models EJ-HF032, EJ-HF044, and EJ-HF045 are included in this recall. Model EJ-HF032 measures 16 feet in diameter by 48 inches in height. Model EJ-HF044 measures 18 feet in diameter by 52 inches in height. Model EJ-HF045 measures 24 feet in diameter by 52 inches in height. Model information and the Evajoy logo are printed on the liner on the outside of the pool.
The recalled above-ground pools contain a compression strap (also referred to as a reinforcing belt) that wraps around the pool on the outside of the vertical support poles, and may create a foothold, allowing a child to access the pool and drown.
Children can still gain access to the pools using these footholds even if the ladder is removed.
CPSC’s website www.PoolSafely.gov has free, downloadable educational materials available to the public on pool safety including information on barriers, covers, alarms and other safety information.

6.Is my pool safe to continue using while I await the repair kit?
While you wait for your repair kit, ensure that children cannot access the pool unattended. Alternatively, consider draining the pool until the repair kit can be installed.
Additionally, you should always take precautions set out in CPSC’s Pool Safely guidelines at www.PoolSafely.gov to ensure that children cannot access the pool without parental supervision. This includes removing pool ladders and any other objects near the pool, such as patio furniture. Also, ensure all required and recommended barriers are closed and locked.
7.How long will it take for my repair kit to arrive?
Repair kits will be shipped via FedEx, UPS or USPS. Typically, you can expect to receive your kit within 5–10 business days from the date of confirmation.
8.Can’t I just cut the strap to continue using the pool?
No. The strap maintains structural integrity and helps the legs of the pool remain upright. The strap should only be cut after the repair kit is installed.
